  1. Helium is a SCAM and the results of this "writing" contest proves it. They state that Laura Neuman, Assoc. Director of the Carter Center in Atlanta selected the winner for the "Sunshine Award". If this is true, then she must have picked the names out of a hat. I challenge anyone to go read the winning author's article. It was a painful experience for me.

    The article was written in broken english and the content was all over the place with no lineage to the subject title. The judge should be forced to write a dissertation on why she selected the article. Helium isn't a place for serious writers who are dedicated to research and quality. It is RIDICULOUSLY for amateurs and those who are oblivious to the fact that they just use their amateur articles as fillers to drive revenue from Google's Adsense program.

    Real authors please stay away from Helium. You can gain more recognition and make more money by developing your own blog site(s) and signing up with Google's Adsense program.
