I am writing to ask for your help with Change Congress. Help us build a movement for reform in Congress, by taking the first step -- pestering the candidates to take a stand.

As you know, we've launched a movement to get citizens, candidates, and Members of Congress, to support at least one of four planks of congressional reform. Some of us support all four. Some others just one or two of the pledges. Indeed, any support is good support when it comes to these issues.

About a month ago, we sent a letter to every Member of Congress, and every challenger, asking them to have the courage to say where they stand on these four planks of reform.

A significant number of candidates have responded to our request. But there are still a great many more who haven't even had the courage to say what they believe in. This is where you come in.

Can you help us get them to at least take a stand? Go to the webpage below and find the candidates running for Congress in your district.

Can you click on the "Pester" button, and either send them an email, or give them a call? We've provided the information you'll need to say to them, and we'll keep track of who gets asked, and whether they respond. If enough of our supporters take this small step, then we can succeed in this first, critical step of reform: an honest measure of who believes in what.

Thank you for your help. And stay tuned for some important additions to the Change Congress project. We're just beginning, and it is a long road ahead. But Congress has just given us $700 billion new reasons to get this right.
