Advocacy campaigns:

Activists have launched a national campaign to send a U.S. boat to Gaza that will sail with a flotilla of ships from Europe, Canada, India, South Africa, and parts of the Middle East this fall. Participants hope to break through the three-year Israeli naval blockade of Gaza. Blog

Petition drive to qualify the Tea Party for the Michigan ballot; allegation by a veteran petition manager that the drive to collect 38,024 valid signatures cost $120,000. The petition bears 59,000 signatures. Blog
