CREW’s Most Corrupt Members of Congress

CREW has released our fourth annual report on the most corrupt members of Congress. A web site specially dedicated to this presentation is at www.crewsmostcorrupt.org.

CREW’s Most Corrupt Members of Congress provides a detailed analysis of the unethical and sometimes illegal activities of 24 congressmen and women who have most egregiously betrayed the public’s trust. The full report can be found here.

Over the past few years, corruption has become a significant political issue, with interest peaking in early 2007. In the 2006 mid-term elections, exit polls showed that 42% of voters called corruption an extremely important issue in their choices at the polls, ahead of terrorism, the economy, and the war in Iraq.

In our new report, CREW again holds public officials accountable for their actions. CREW’s Most Corrupt Members of Congress documents the unethical activities of 20 House Members and four Senators. Corruption demands accountability and action. Please join us in demanding that lawmakers keep their promise to uphold the law.
