Candidates for the US Senate are the only federal candidates that fail to make their campaign finances available in a timely fashion and online. The Senate is considering a bill—S.482—that would fix this.

“Unfortunately, one senator, Sen. Roberts, KS, is setting this bill up to fail by tacking on an unnecessary and controversial amendment that would actually decrease transparency and accountability in the Senate.”

  • Call your senators.
  • Ask your senators if they will co-sponsor S. 482.
  • Ask your senators to oppose the Roberts amendment.
