Kentuckians for the Commonwealth: Voting Rights for Former Felons Lobby Day and Rally this Thursday

"Join us for our major lobby day and rally to restore voting rights to former felons who have served their debt to society this Thursday, February 24th in Frankfort [Kentucky].  We passed the House 77-21 and now it's time to make sure that the Senate does the right thing too. Voting Rights Lobby Day and Rally, Thursday, February 24th, 8:30am to 2pm
But if you can’t make it out to Frankfort, you can still participate any time during the week by calling the  Legislative Message Line, a quick and easy action.  In just three minutes, you can leave a message for a dozen key legislators and really make an impact.
Call 1-800-372-7181, and ask to leave a message for "Senate Leadership, Senate State and Local Government committee," and your own Senator (if you don't know who that is, the operator can tell you).
The Message line is open 7am until 11pm Monday-Thursday and until 6pm on Friday.
Message: 'Please vote yes on House Bill 70.'"
